Camembert with Balsamic Macerated Strawberries


  • 8 oz wheel camembert cheese
  • ½ pint strawberries sliced
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 1 ½ tablespoons balsamic vinegar


  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place camembert in a baking dish (with a lip in case it spreads); pie tins work great for this purpose.
  • Meanwhile prepare strawberries- combine sliced strawberries, sugar, and vinegar. Stir well to combine. Set aside to macerate for about 30 minutes.
  • Place camembert in the oven for about 30 minutes.
  • Spoon generous portion of balsamic macerated strawberries over the camembert.
  • Serve with your favorite crackers.
